How to use this library
This is a do-it-yourself library, for club members to share cycling books. It's based on trust between cyclists. (The club is not responsible for policing your loans!)
To offer a book:
Post a short description, with the book title & author as the post title (details below). Multiple books should have separate blog posts. Please put your full name (but don't publish contact details online). Borrowers can look you up on the contact list. Record any loans by making a comment against the original post.
To borrow a book:
Contact the person offering it, and make arrangements directly with them. You are responsible for collecting the book and returning it. If you enjoyed the book, you can make a comment about the book.
To record loans and returns:
Please add a comment. This also makes it clear to others who's currently got the book.
If you have never posted a description on here before:
Email the librarian, Steph Wyatt, to be added as an editor. You will receive an email invitation, and once you accept, you can post your description as follows:
- While viewing the library main page, in the top right corner you should see either "New Post" or "Sign In".
- Once you have signed in, click on New Post to add your book description. Click Publish to finish.
- If you like, you can list your book in a category by adding "labels" to your post. (On the right hand side of the screen.)
